If you wish to apply for the scholarship, you need to submit the scholarship application form available during the application period. Any other way will be disregarded.

Please note that the admission and enrollment procedures are independent of the EMJM scholarship. We strongly encourage you to apply in parallel for the admission, following the procedure described here link

The EMJM scholarship will award you with ~1400€ per month for 2 years.
Selection procedure
Academic Criteria
The Selection and Examination Board reviews the applications. The Board rates every single eligible application based on the following criteria:

Interview: details about the interview procedure will be given when submitting the scholarship application form -> 50 points

Academic grades: final bachelor’s degree grade or, if the applicant still needs to graduate, the average marks for examinations taken by the date of the application will be considered -> 25 points

Two reference letters: The reference letters must be uploaded to links that referees received after submitting the application. The letter, in pdf format and English, must include letterheads of the author’s Institution and the signature (both handwritten and electronic signs are accepted) -> 15 points

Motivation letter: CV and a two-page letter that describes why you are the perfect candidate for the EMJM scholarship -> 10 points

Consortium scholarship
Waived Tuition Fees
In addition to the EMJM scholarship, 15 more students will be selected to have their tuition fees waived. The selection process is based on merit and the reduced fees for are as follows:

Applicants without EU/EEA citizenship: The total amount of the fees per student for the entire program is 7600€, i.e. 1900€ per semester.

Applicants with EU/EEA citizenship or who have obtained their Bachelor's degree in EU/EEA: The total amount of the fees per student for the entire program is 4600€, i.e. 1150€ per semester.

Other Possible Scholarships
Once you have been admitted to our master's program, different possibilities for financial support from the German, French, and Italian governments are open to you.
As a student of the MS^2 program, you will be enrolled at TU Dortmund (Germany) for the entire study period (2 years). At the same time, you will be registered at UniTrento (Italy) for the second semester and at Ecole Centrale Nantes (France) for the third semester.
